2013 GCE N-Level Results
We congratulate our students for achieving excellent results in the 2013 GCE N-Level Examinations. More than 95% of our Secondary 4 students from the Normal (Academic) stream are eligible for promotion to Secondary 5. On top of that, 42% of our Normal (Academic) students qualify for the Polytechnic Foundation Programme (PFP) and 93% qualify for the ITE Higher NITEC Course (which gives them access to polytechnic education thereafter). 100% of students from the Normal (Technical) stream qualify for ITE.
The academic demands for the N-level subjects were relatively easier. It gave me motivation to study hard, so that I would be able to do well at the the national examination. Our teachers were also patient and their methods innovative. They always managed to find ways to make learning fun and effective. My friends and my sister were encouraging as well; we often studied together, and taught each other subjects that we were weak in. In my church, we are encouraged to fulfill a 'study rule' which was to study for 20 hours a week. This discipline has helped me in being consistent in my work throughout the year.
Katherine Tay, Secondary 4C1b
